Prime is an all-in-one conditioner suitable for both freshwater and saltwater tanks. It effectively eliminates chlorine, chloramine, and detoxifies ammonia. Additionally, Prime converts ammonia into a harmless and non-toxic form that can be easily removed by the tank's biofilter. It can also be used during the tank cycling process to alleviate ammonia/nitrite toxicity. Prime detoxifies nitrite and nitrate, allowing the biofilter to remove them more efficiently. Furthermore, Prime can detoxify heavy metals present in tap water at typical concentration levels. Prime does not affect pH levels as it is non-acidic and does not overactivate skimmers. It is recommended to use Prime at start-up and when adding or replacing water. To transport or quarantine fish, Seachem StressGuard is ideal, and for adding new fish, Stability is recommended.
